How is this achieved?

• Through bespoke key working sessions with each young person, looking at short- and long-term objectives. Ensuring the young people have an input into these sessions and they develop a good understanding of how to keep themselves safe.
• By keeping the wishes and feelings of the children as a priority.
• By putting real focus on education; not just within a school environment but bringing that within the home through teaching essential life skills such as cooking, cleaning, and shopping. This helps to build a sense of pride and self-worth.
• By creating stability within children’s lives. Helping to build routines, boundaries and resilience is all done to make the home as close to a familysetting as possible.
• By introducing a respect within the home and not only embracing individuality and diversity but celebrating and valuing it.
• Active participation in activities outside of the home, such as after school classes, trips away, sports and other social clubs.
• By ensuring the welfare and safeguarding of each young person.
