Brighter Tomorrows
Our Vision
To provide a range of high-quality care provisions for Looked After Children.
We are aware that children will come to us at difficult times in their lives and we aim to provide them with a positive, caring experience; one that is healing and nurturing, with an emphasis on building relationships with support workers.
We want to provide an environment for children and young people where they feel support and stability.
We understand that these children with emotional and behavioural difficulties require a lot of attention, and our aim is to create a family atmosphere, a home.
Our vision for the children is to work towards:
- Preparation for semi-independent or independent living
- Building resilience and self esteem
- Preparation for the child or young person to reside with a substitute family
- Rehabilitation for the child or young person back to their family/carer(s).
Through a matching process, we will ensure that we are suited to support the needs
of the children and young people. Specific consideration will be given with respect to
compatibility factors, such as age, gender and health needs of the existing young
people and potential planned admissions.
We work with Local Authorities to provide a child-centred and individualized approach to children who have had adverse childhood experiences and may present, at times of distress, emotional behaviour difficulties.
Our services are ideal for both local and distant placements.
We aim to develop safe, stable, and secure relationships with our staff in the homes.
As such, we allocate a support worker to each young person to offer individual support.
These workers take an important position as a core member of the team around the child, contributing to planning and decision-making.
We believe in equal opportunities for everyone.
Children and young people will not be discriminated against on the basis of age, race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability.
All our staff receive training in equal opportunities and diversity.
